Sells African and some Haitian items. Cheaper than the Haitian market next door l. Also sales bitter kola nut which I have been looking for everywhere I did buy some tea and it had a bad coffee smelled that lingered so bad I threw away the entire container. It was the same tea you find in the Asian markets. Would recommend for specific needs

I've been shopping here for years, I'm African America and I know how to make several African dishes, I can remember when they had a smaller shop down the street, always a pleasure to speak with them, and get ideas or help with my ingredients ✌🏾❤️😎

I'm new to the area and I'm american, I have a few african dishes I like to make. So I decided to try this location to pick up some supplies. Unfortunately I will not be returning. It was a little pricey, The selection was pretty good. They did not have agege bread.😞 The saddest part of the whole ordeal was the person at the register. He was so miserable!!!. It was as if he was disgusted by me shopping there. I kept smiling, and told him thank you a few times. I literally had to tell him to smile. He made me feel so uncomfortable I couldn't wait to leave, at one point I wanted to leave the groceries and just walk out. I still remained my pleasant self wished him a good day and thanked him. He didn't respond.. Not a thank you..not have a good day..Just a nasty look on his face the whole time. They lost a customer. 🫤😞I will be trying the other african markets in the area. keeping my fingers crossed.🤞🏽🤞🏽

Very inconsistent, sometimes they have good fresh foods, sometimes... stale older food. The prices are to high, and the customer service is the same as the food... Sometimes good, sometimes horrible!! I am a person that cannot stand inconsistency, so for me it's a store that I won't go back to. I'll go to krausers right down the block, way better; even Bravo I'll rather go to.
